This is what our bathroom designs look like
Today we would like to talk to you about one of the most important rooms in the home if we take into account the daily use we make of it. We are referring to the bathroom, a part of the house that, together with the kitchen, is absolutely essential in any home.
That is why, fortunately, more and more attention is being paid to bathroom design, creating spaces that not only aim to be functional but also beautiful, practical, relaxing and comfortable. The concept of the austere and aseptic bathroom is over. Now they are starring rooms that aspire to provide beauty, calm and relaxation, especially when enjoying a shower or a bath at the end of the day.
Would you like to know how we turn bathrooms into special spaces? Here are some examples of bathroom designs that we have carried out in homes we have built or refurbished in Mallorca. We will tell you some aspects that we invite you to take into account if you want to make your bathroom a special, more beautiful and comfortable place.
What are today’s bathroom designs like?
As we were saying, bathrooms have to be comfortable and functional rooms that facilitate their daily use without sacrificing beauty. To achieve this, the distribution of space is very important, something that we at gHouse take very much into account. We try to make the most of every centimetre of this room so that moving around in it is more comfortable.
In this sense, you can see some of the changes we have introduced in this bathroom that we have renovated in Mallorca:
- We have replaced the bathtub for a shower tray to gain space without giving up the relaxation you are looking for every day. Showering will be as relaxing and pleasant as bathing, but without needing so much space.
- We have changed the shower curtain for a made-to-measure shower enclosure, a change that not only brings comfort to the daily use of the shower, but also creates a greater feeling of spaciousness in the room.
- We have also included designer bathroom fittings that contribute to making this room look more beautiful and modern, creating an atmosphere that invites you to enjoy those moments of intimacy.
- Finally, including a wooden cupboard under the washbasin provides warmth and storage space to keep everything in order, something that contributes to making the daily use of this room more comfortable.
And now we want to analyse another bathroom that our team of interior designers in Mallorca has done in the reform of a villa in Santa Ponsa. Here the idea was to create a very innovative and comfortable space for which we have played with the integration of LED light on the back of the mirror, something that highlights the general furniture and gives a more intimate and relaxing touch to this room.
The presence of wood and always playing with few chromatic tones (usually very light tones) contribute to make our bathroom designs more elegant and give rise to rooms that seem larger and more spacious.
What do you think of these proposals? As you can see, some aspects such as opting for shower trays with screens, choosing light tones, playing with the lighting… are key to creating bathrooms that are very special, that invite you to use them and make them more comfortable.
